What to do if the Send to Supplier button is missing or emails are not being delivered.
I cannot send a PO to my vendor
If you cannot send a purchase order email to your supplier, here are the most common causes and how to fix them.
The Send to Supplier button is not visible
The Send to Supplier button only appears when:
- The PO has a status of Sent or Approved (not Draft).
- The supplier has an email address saved on their profile.
If either of these conditions is not met the button will not appear. Check the PO status and the supplier's email address in the Suppliers section.
How to add an email address to a supplier
- Go to Suppliers and open the supplier.
- Click the Profile tab.
- Add the email address and click Save.
- Return to the PO — the Send to Supplier button should now appear.
Emails are not arriving at the supplier
If you can send from PO Flow but the supplier says they are not receiving the emails:
- Ask the supplier to check their spam or junk folder.
- Confirm the email address on the supplier profile is spelled correctly.
- Check that your configured reply-to email address is not being filtered by the supplier's email system.
- Try sending a test email to a different address to verify the sending is working.
Email send failed with an error
If you see an error toast when sending, there may be a temporary issue with the email delivery service. Wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists contact support at support@hollistechnologies.com.
