Cannot send a PO

A PO will not send if the supplier has no email, the PO has no line items, or the status does not allow sending.

Cannot send a PO

If the Send to Supplier button is disabled or the email modal refuses to send, one of these is the cause.

The supplier has no email

Open the supplier and add a value to the Email field. The PO email goes to the supplier's main email — not the contact list.

The PO has no line items

You cannot send an empty PO. Add at least one line item.

The PO status does not allow sending

You can send draft POs and re-send sent POs. Closed, cancelled, and fully received POs cannot be sent. If you need to communicate further about a received PO, contact the supplier outside of PO Flow.

An approval workflow is blocking the send

If your PO falls under an approval workflow (Pro plan), the PO cannot be sent until the approval request is fully approved. Look for the approval banner at the top of the PO — if it shows pending, the PO is waiting on approvers.
