Connecting to Shopify

PO Flow uses Shopify OAuth — there is no separate login. You approve a set of read and write scopes once at install, and Shopify takes care of the rest.

Scopes PO Flow requests

read_products — list products and variants when adding line items.
read_inventory and write_inventory — read on-hand levels and increase them when you receive stock.
read_locations — pick the location to receive stock into.
read_orders, read_all_orders, and read_draft_orders — power the import-from-Shopify-order flow so you can turn a customer order into purchase orders.

If Shopify asks to approve new permissions

If PO Flow ever adds a new scope in a future release, Shopify shows a re-consent prompt the next time you open the app. Click Update app to approve.
