Navigating the dashboard

The dashboard shows an onboarding checklist, KPI cards, and an open-POs-by-status overview.

Navigating the dashboard

The dashboard is the first page you see in PO Flow. It is built to answer one question at a glance: what needs attention right now.

Onboarding checklist

On a new install, the top of the dashboard shows a 3-step checklist:

  1. Add your first supplier — opens the supplier form.
  2. Create your first purchase order — opens the PO form.
  3. Set up email sending — opens Settings to configure your sender name and reply-to address.

Once all three steps are done, click Dismiss to hide the checklist.

KPI cards

Below the checklist, KPI cards show counts and totals at a glance, including Overdue POs, Open POs, Pending Approval, and Spend this month. Click any card to jump to the matching filtered list.

Open POs by status

A breakdown chart shows draft, sent, partial, and other open statuses so you can see where work is stacking up.

Plan card and recommendations

The right side shows your current plan with an upgrade prompt, and recommended next steps for any integrations you have not connected yet, like QuickBooks Online or Slack.
