Installing PO Flow from the Shopify App Store

Installing PO Flow

PO Flow is available on the Shopify App Store and can be installed in just a few minutes. You will need to be the store owner or have the necessary permissions to install apps on your Shopify store.

Installation steps

1. Go to the Shopify App Store and search for PO Flow, or click the direct install link provided by Hollis Technologies.
2. Click Add app on the PO Flow listing page.
3. You will be redirected to your Shopify Admin to review the permissions PO Flow requires. These include access to products, inventory, and orders — all necessary for core purchasing functionality.
4. Click Install app to confirm. You will be redirected into PO Flow automatically.
5. Follow the onboarding checklist that appears on your first visit to complete your initial setup.

Required permissions

PO Flow requires the following Shopify permissions to function correctly:

• Products and inventory — to search your product catalogue when creating POs and to update inventory counts when stock is received.
• Orders — to allow importing line items from Shopify sales orders into purchase orders.
• Billing — to manage your PO Flow subscription.

After installation

Once installed, PO Flow will appear in your Shopify Admin under Apps. We recommend completing the onboarding checklist on the dashboard before creating your first PO. This includes setting up your first supplier and configuring your PO number format.
