Managing user permissions for PO Flow

Access to PO Flow is controlled through Shopify's staff permissions system. PO Flow respects the app access permissions you set in your Shopify Admin.

Granting access to PO Flow

1. Go to your Shopify Admin → Settings → Users and permissions.
2. Select the staff member you want to grant access to.
3. Find PO Flow in the apps list and enable access.
4. Click Save.

Approval workflow roles (Pro)

Within PO Flow's approval workflow system, specific team members can be designated as approvers. This is configured in Settings → Approvals. Being an approver in PO Flow is separate from Shopify staff permissions — you can designate any email address as an approver, including people who are not Shopify staff (such as a manager who uses Shopify Admin to approve POs via the direct link in their email).

Store owner access

The Shopify store owner always has full access to all apps including PO Flow. Their access cannot be restricted.
